This is an original oil on canvas painting 11x14 of a single Flamenco dancer. Inspiration came when I attended the Friday night Flamenco show and dinner (Paella of course) at Carmen’s de la Calle in San Antonio, TX recently. The magic of a classical guitarist accompanied by a woman singer with the unique singing style of the Flamenco is haunting and at the same time rousing. If you are ever in San Antonio on certain Friday nights, I recommend you attend. This painting is unframed with gallery/canvas wrapped edges with no staples showing. The edges are painted in a light burnt sienna tone.
