Mission San Jose is one of the largest and most famous of the Spanish missions in San Antonio, Texas, and is known as the Queen of the Missions.  It was built over 300 years ago and was almost fully restored in the 1930s by the Works Progress Administration. It is one of five San Antonio Missions which were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 15, 2015. The most famous of these buildings is the Alamo, originally called Mission San Antonio de Valero.
